Exceptionally, Laurent Boutonnat didn't direct the song's video, because he was very busy with his film Giorgino that he prepared. So it was the French film director, writer and producer Luc Besson, a Boutonnat and Farmer's friend (the singer was even an extra in his 1983 film Le Dernier Combat), who shot the video. This Requiem Publishing and Heathcliff SA production, which lasts 6:44, was filmed for three days at the studios of Stains (France), with a budget of about 100,000 euros.


The video says at the end that Michael Jackson, which is believed to see in the video, is actually a body double. The final scene in which Farmer blows a bubble with her chewing gum refers to a similar scene of Besson's film Nikita. The video was broadcast for the first time on M6, on December 12, 1992.
